You should have total voice control of your pet. The dog should come when you call it, even when there are many distractions. It should be at ease around other dogs and people.

Question 2: Will we need a crate in camp?
Answer: Yes, in case there are wild animals or just other dogs that roam through campsites during the night.

Question 3: Can our dog travel in a camper trailer while we're pulling it?
Answer: Only if it is in a crate and if it is not against the law in your state. A loose dog can be injured if you are in an accident or by falling objects. Bring the same travel aids for trailer travel as for travel in a car.
