| Question 3: I like to take my dog everywhere with me in the car, but
hes a little crazy while Im driving and ends up in my lap most of the time. |
Answer: The ideal ways to carry a dog in the car are in a
carrier (seat-belted) or belted in with one of the dog seat belts available in most pet
supply stores. We dont allow children to be unrestrained in a car and the rules
should be the same for pets. A pet can get in your line of vision or under your feel and
not only make it impossible for you to drive safely, but possibly cause an accident. |
| Question 4: I like carrying my dog in the back of my pickup truck. |
Answer: This is not safe! If it is too hot, or too cold,
or if youre in an accident, your dog may die or suffer injuries. This is totally
irresponsible behavior. However, some people even transport their children this say. What
can I say? |
